Jun 2, 2026 · updated Jun 2, 2026
EA SPORTS College Football 27 has its first major cover reveal: Kewan Lacy, Malachi Toney, and Dante Moore are the featured cover athletes, with EA pointing fans to the full reveal on Thursday, June 4 at 8 PM ET.
The cover reveal gives College Football fans the first clear marketing beat for this year’s game. It also gives us a few things to watch as EA starts filling in the details around platforms, editions, timing, and what the game will look like at launch.

What EA announced
EA named Kewan Lacy, Malachi Toney, and Dante Moore as the College Football 27 cover athletes.
EA’s post pointed fans to a full reveal on Thursday, June 4 at 8 PM ET.
The official CFB 27 page is now showing Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition options.
CFB 26 ratings on TeamCrafters
EA has not released College Football 27 player ratings yet, but TeamCrafters already has the latest College Football 26 roster baselines for all three cover athletes:
Kewan Lacy — Ole Miss Rebels HB, Sophomore, #5, 94 OVR. View Kewan Lacy on TeamCrafters.
Malachi Toney — Miami (FL) Hurricanes WR, Freshman, #10, 93 OVR. View Malachi Toney on TeamCrafters.
Dante Moore — Oregon Ducks QB, Sophomore, #5, 93 OVR. View Dante Moore on TeamCrafters.
Those CFB 26 ratings are a useful baseline while we wait for EA to reveal how each player is rated in College Football 27.
PC is still the question to watch
EA has not made a clean, full PC release announcement for College Football 27 yet. That is still the major detail fans are waiting to hear directly from EA during the full reveal cycle.
At the same time, store listings have already been created for PC versions, which is why the platform question is getting so much attention. Until EA gives the official wording, the safest read is simple: PC looks increasingly likely, but the final details still need to be confirmed by EA.
Deluxe Edition is now on the board
EA’s official College Football 27 page is also showing a Deluxe Edition alongside the Standard Edition. EA has not posted a full benefits list yet, so it is too early to say what the Deluxe Edition includes. Going by previous years, it is likely just early access and CUT Tokens.

What to watch in the full reveal
Gameplay and presentation. Fans will be looking for updates to on-field feel, broadcast overlays, stadium atmosphere, uniforms, equipment, and team entrances.
Roster and ratings direction. Cover athletes usually become early ratings conversation pieces. Expect plenty of debate around Lacy, Toney, Moore, and their teams.
College Football vs. Madden overlap. Opening Drive covers both franchises, but not every Madden feature applies to College Football.
Bottom line
The cover-athlete reveal is a strong first signal that EA is ready to start the College Football 27 news cycle. Lacy, Toney, and Moore give the game a fresh cover trio, while the Standard and Deluxe Edition listings give fans more to watch before the full reveal.
The biggest unresolved item is still PC. Store listings for PC versions are out there, but EA still needs to make the platform details official. That should be one of the first things to watch when the full reveal goes live.
