If you’ve been wondering where this site has been, that’s a fair question. The truth is, you haven’t missed much yet. CFBMods is brand new platform built specifically for gamers to find, upload, and share mods for EA Sports College Football 27. From the start, the goal has been to create a space that is fully tailored to this series and the community around it.

A Creator-First Platform

CFBMods is designed with creators in mind.

The best mods will be showcased front and center, making it easy for users to discover and download high quality content. Players can leave comments, provide feedback, and interact directly with mod creators. There are also plans to introduce features that allow creators to share their support links, including YouTube, Patreon, and Ko-fi, so fans can follow and support their favorite modders.

Gone are the days of creators needing to host their own Google Drive, Mega, or other file sharing link. CFBMods will allow all mod creators to upload and host their mods directly on the site! Less focusing on hosting, more on creating on sharing.

Who Am I?

I’m Jerry, the same person behind TeamCrafters.net, one of the top resources for College Football 25, 26, and soon 27 ratings and utilities.

Instead of expanding TeamCrafters to include mods, I chose to build something separate and focused. TeamCrafters serves the competitive and data-driven side of the community, while CFBMods is built for players who want to customize and enhance the game through modding.

The site is still early in development, but as the release of CFB 27 gets closer, expect more features, tools, and tutorials to roll out.

Why Haven’t There Been Mods Until Now?

A common question is why there were no mods for EA Sports College Football 25 or 26.

The answer is simple. Those games were released only on consoles, which made modding extremely limited. Without a PC version, there was no real way for a modding community to take off.

That is what makes College Football 27 so exciting. Leaks all but officially confirm a PC launch, which opens the door for a full modding scene for the first time since the return of the series.

When Does CFB 27 Launch?

There is no official release date yet, but there is a clear pattern.

Both CFB 25 and CFB 26 launched in early July of their respective years. Based on that, it is reasonable to expect CFB 27 to release around July 10th or July 17th, 2026.

We will know for sure once the official announcement is made, but that is the likely window.
